Business Development Executive B2C

Post Overview:

As a Business Development Executive – B2C at Antakh, you are primarily responsible for developing all End User commercial activity carried out by the organization.

You shall be responsible for developing both first party and second party channels ensuring that the organization optimizes its potential for commercial activity in the end user markets. You are to research all channels both online and offline, these include first and second party ecommerce portals, local retailers, Antakh showrooms and events & exhibitions.

You shall also be the end user advocate in the organisation, where you will be the primary source of information on the customer and responsible for all direct communications with the customer. As such you are also responsible for providing feedback and suggestions to relevant team on user experience and customers’ requirements, to ensure that we are continuously providing our customers with the best possible offerings and communicating as such.

 

Post Duties and Responsibilities:

Research & Prospecting:

  • You are required to have in-depth information on the furniture market, the players, trends, platforms and a general view on the creative industry in our operating areas as a whole.

  • You are required to always be aware of Customer’s needs and buying behavior

  • You are to collect all data on all active channels and provide insight to this data

  • You shall provide quarterly market analysis on all new trends, price range, market needs and your report must include creative solutions and suggestions to allow the organisation to fully optimize all potential opportunities

  • Maintain the research process where it shall be on-going all year long 

Attract:

  • Increase market presence across all channels

  • Use different techniques and offerings to always attract new customers

  • Continuous activities of visual merchandising

  • Setting seasonal collections and offers

  • Make sure Antakh’s  product variety is well displayed through all platforms

  • Highlighting every season’s hot items 

  • Engage through various communities to spread word of mouth

  • Work with Innovation and marketing team on visual merchandising solution online and offline. You shall be managing this process throughout all active channels.

 Customer Engagement and Interaction:

  • Ensure that the CRM is in place, being properly used, and covers all information that the organization requires about its customers

  • Continuously develop methods to engage customers

  • Manage communications with customers and ensure that all customer interactions uphold to a set guideline

  • Receive, manage filter and direct all end user customer inquiries

  • Ensure that there is a system in place to track all customer interactions

  • Ensure that the selling processes across all non-automated channels follow a consultative approach. You can achieve this by training personal, developing scripts and through cooperation with the marketing team to ensure that outbound communications ('product specific' abide by this)

  • Ensure that this process results in a high conversion rate.

Customer Love (After Sale service):

  • Make sure orders delivered on time and as agreed

  • Implement a system to follow up with and retain existing customers

  • Develop loyalty and referral programs

  • Handle all complaints with instant satisfying solution

  • Handle maintenance requests smoothly

  • Build strong relationship with retailer offering continuous support

Qualifications:

To be qualified for this post candidates must fulfill the following criteria

Education:

  • B.A. in Management studies or related field with a focus on marketing or advertising

Work Experience:

  • 1 -3 years of work experience in a relevant field. Start-up experience is a plus

Language:

  • English and Arabic fluency (written, read and conversational)

Competencies:

  •  Research: Ability to research new business areas and synthesize large amount of information to develop project strategies

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate among partners. Excellent

  • English writing skills and proficiency in Arabic, specifically the ability to read government documents and interpret them

  • Planning and organizing: Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

  • Creativity: Actively seek to offer new and different options to solve problems

  • Accountability: Takes ownership of all responsibilities and honors commitments; delivers outputs for which one has responsibility within prescribed time, cost and quality standards; operates in compliance with organizational regulations and rules.
